About MARCOS ZUBIA

Marcos Zubia was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM, a graduate of Capital High School and NM Highlands University. He married his high school sweetheart, Donna, and together they have a 12-year-old son named Dominic and a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Michaela.

Marcos enjoyed a successful 15-year career as a respected banking professional. The banking world is where he honed his approach to business which offered a perfect segue into Real Estate. He is the team owner for The Z Group where he works alongside his family of Native New Mexicans, helping clients achieve their real estate goals.

Marcos is currently the VP & Chief Development Officer at St. Vincent Hospital Foundation, a board member for both the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Chair-Elect for the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce and Governance Council Member at Turquoise Trail Charter School. In 2017, he was recognized as one of 10 Who Made a Difference by the Santa Fe New Mexican newspaper for his work with Esperanza Shelter. In 2019, he received the Muchisimas Gracias award by the Mayor of Santa Fe for his work and desire to make a difference in the community through his volunteerism and philanthropic work. He and his wife, Donna, are founding members of the NextGen Philanthropy Group.

Marcos prides himself in putting his customers’ needs first, and building relationships based on integrity, honesty and reliability. His family enjoys helping clients become community members of our great city.
